FortyWeeksPrivacy Policy
In short: FortyWeeks does not collect any of your personal information.
Everything you record in the app — your pregnancy start date, the status of each item, your notes, moods and the photos you add — is stored only on your own iPhone. There are no accounts, no servers that receive this content, and no analytics, advertising or third-party SDKs. We cannot see it, and we cannot get it.
FortyWeeks (四十周, “the App”) is developed and provided by TODO: developer name. This policy explains how the App treats your information.
What we do not collect
- No sign-up or login. We do not collect your name, phone number or email address.
- We do not collect your location or contacts, and we do not read device identifiers for tracking.
- No usage analytics, and no crash-reporting tools built into the App.
- No advertising. We do not sell or share your information with anyone.
- The App never sends any content you create in it to us or to anyone else.
Where your data is stored
All content is stored in the App’s private storage on your iPhone.
- Photos. When you add a photo to a note, the App keeps its own copy. If you later delete the original from your photo library, the copy in your note remains.
- System backups. If you use iCloud Backup or back up your iPhone to a computer, iOS includes the App’s data in that backup. This is an Apple system feature that you control in your iPhone settings; it is handled under Apple’s privacy policy, and we have no access to your backups.
- Deletion. You can erase everything in the App under Settings (设置) → Clear all data (清空全部数据). The App’s interface is in Chinese; the Chinese labels are shown in brackets. Deleting the App also deletes all of its data on your device (except what is in your system backups). Once deleted, we cannot restore it — we never had a copy.
Permissions the App uses
Each permission is requested only when you use the related feature. Declining does not affect anything else.

Two additional notes:
- If your photos use iCloud Photos with “Optimize iPhone Storage”, iOS may download the full-size original from Apple’s servers when you pick it. This happens between you and Apple; the App is not involved.
- Events added to your system calendar belong to your calendar. If your calendar account syncs (for example, iCloud Calendar), those events will sync according to your settings.
Anonymous information Apple may share with developers
If you have chosen to share with app developers under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements on your iPhone, Apple may provide us with anonymous crash reports and aggregated usage statistics. This information is collected and processed by Apple, does not include anything you record in the App, and can be turned off at any time in your settings.
Your data belongs to you
Everything you create in the App belongs entirely to you. Because we neither store nor access this content, there is nothing to request from us — you can view, change or delete all of it directly on your own device.
Children
The App is intended for pregnant women and their families. It is not directed to children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy
If we add features that need an internet connection in the future (for example, family sharing or data sync), we will update this policy before those features are released and let you know in the App. The “Last updated” date above will change accordingly.
